VIRTUAL LEARNING, REIMAGINED
KRESA Virtual & Innovative Collaborative (KVIC) is a virtual learning program operated
jointly by the Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency (KRESA) and participating
local school districts. KVIC is built upon a virtual learning model that has been operating
locally for nearly ten years — it provides a personalized and challenging online learning
plan for every student in the KRESA service area with costs borne by school districts.
For students and families that cannot, or choose not to, engage in traditional face-to-face
schooling, KVIC provides an excellent alternative, offering personalized learning, multiple
course options and innovative learning platforms that best meet the needs of all learners.
This Kindergarten through 12th grade program was designed with a rigorous,
aligned curriculum and is taught by highly qualified teachers from your local districts.
Enrollment Opens August 10
Families must officially enroll their child in their local school district. All enrolled students will
have one or more content teacher(s) to facilitate the learning of the online material and one
mentor who supports the overall academic progress.

How To Enroll:
Student Educational Development Plan - KVIC This form MUST be filled out FIRST by a PARENT or GUARDIAN, to get your student enrolled in the program. This is the Educational Plan for students. An EDP is a living document that each student develops with the school district. The Education Plan form has to be received by our district facilitator, BEFORE their registration can be accepted.
Parent/Guardian KVIC Student Registration This form MUST be filled out by a PARENT or GUARDIAN, AFTER the previous form (EDP) to register their student in the KVIC program.
