Dear Galesburg-Augusta Community:
Last week many of you received a mailing characterizing the G-A district and its students as "failing."
This week, G-A was notified that it received a ranking by the U.S. News & World Report "Best High Schools 2021".
We know that no one standardized test can predict the future life outcomes for children. So much more goes into educating our children. Our small school district continues to graduate highly successful adults, as we have done in the past. Galesburg-Augusta Community Schools is doing great things and will continue to pursue more opportunities for the best interests of our students today and in the future.
