Galesburg-Augusta Community Schools (K-12 and daycare) will be CLOSED tomorrow, Friday, January 12, 2024 due to inclement weather.

There is NO Girls youth basketball tomorrow after school because of Halloween. The next after school practice is THURSDAY, November 2 3rd-4th 3:00-4:15 5th-6th 4:00-5:15 Travel practice on Wednesday, November 1 3rd-4th 6:00 5th-6th 7:00

HALF DAY BUSES: Orange and White buses are being combined on the ORANGE BUS today for the half day and they may be running 30 minutes late! Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. ❤️💛🐏

MIDDLE SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL Reminder that practice for 7th and 8th grade boys basketball starts tomorrow Monday, October 23. Students must have a physical before practice starts. NO Physical-NO Practice Practice will be 3:30-5:30 tomorrow. Coaches will notify parents the schedule for the remainder of the week. Justin Gailhouse

GIRLS YOUTH BASKETBALL After school free basketball program begins on Tuesday, October 24. After school camp is focused on fundamental skill development, no games. Girls in grades 3rd and 4th practice 3:00-4:15. Girls in grades 5th and 6th will be bused to the Primary and practice 4:00-5:15. After practice parents must come inside and sign out their daughter. Girls that registerd for Travel Basketball, which includes games vs other schools, will practice Wednesday night. Registration fee of $40 is due. 3/4th grade teams will practice 6:00-7:00. 5/6th grade teams practice at 7:00. Girls are divided into 2 teams at each level. Attendance is required. First games are Saturday, November 11.

Good morning Ram Fam! Tomorrow, October 4th, is FALL COUNT DAY! Please make sure your student is in attendance for the entire day. The number of students present on Count Day is how the state determines our district funding! (The higher the count, the more funding we receive.) We are celebrating the day with ice-cream sandwiches in the afternoon, and by allowing students to wear a hat during school hours. Every student counts!

Get your presale tickets for Friday's game from the G-ACS admin/business office (attached to the HS, facing 37th street). 8AM-4:30PM, Today-Thursday 8AM-3PM on Friday. $6/admission, cash only G-A students get in free with student ID Senior Citizen Passes for free admission (age 62 yrs. and up) available at the High School office. Free admission with military ID.

1-2-3-4- WE DECLARE A PENNY WAR! The Penny War will take place TODAY, 9/13/23, through 9/29/23, for K-12. - Buckets will be available to deposit money into at the beginning of the day and end of the day near the school office - Pennies in your bucket = positive points - Each silver coin counts as negative points for OTHER grades. In other words, dropping a quarter in another grade’s bucket takes 25 points from their total. Dollar bills are big points. - We will announce scores at the end of each week: 9/15 & 9/22 - The grade with the most positive points (money) on 9/29 wins! - Proceeds will go towards a surprise at the Home of the Ram Stadium Grand Opening on October 6th.

Tonight’s Middle School Volleyball game is at schoolcraft Elementary School. (610 S 14th Street; Schoolcraft, MI 49087). Schoolcraft is requesting that you utilize the GOFAN , They prefer fans purchase tickets through GOFAN. We will have card readers available and QR codes with instructions to purchase tickets on site via their mobile phone. Girls Youth Galesburg-Augusta Volleyball starts tomorrow. All practices are at the Primary. 3rd and 4th grade practice is 3:00-4:15. Students that turned in registration forms will receive a slip to come to the gym after school. 5th ad 6th grade is 4:00-5:15. Students that registered will be bused from the Middle School to the Primary. Parents MUST come inside and sign their daughter out. Gym shoes and clothes are expected to be worn.
