Practices start Tuesday, October 25 for grades 3-6. Please return registration forms by Friday so I can plan for Tuesday. Extra copies are in the offices if needed.
MIDDLE SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL
Game tonight is at the MIDDDLE SCHOOL. Both the 7th grade and 8th grade start at 5:00. We will be using 2 courts. Each grade will be playing 4 sets. See you tonight for the final game of the season.
Reminder: Wednesday, October 19, is a HALF DAY.

Youth Soccer Camp tomorrow. 1st-3rd grade is 3:00-4:00. 4th-6th grade 4:00-5:00.
Tomorrow is fall count day… This is an important day because it determines how much funding all districts in the state of Michigan will receive to provide academic programs for our students. We would love to see each of our students be present at school tomorrow. Every student counts!

We need to get a team put together to plsy in the a Rising Stars program that is being ran through Vicksburg. If you are interested, please contact me ASAP.
Youth Soccer Camp today. 1st-3rd grade 3:00-4:15, 4th-6th grade 4:00-5:15. Camp will be OUTSIDE behind the Primary. Please dress warm.
Primary School Walk to school Event (1st-3rd) is Friday, October 7. Permission slips are due Friday. Parents are invited to participate either their children. Looking forward to this years event. We will be waking from River Oaks Park to the school via the Kalamazoo Valley River Trail.
Reminder: In the spirit of homecoming and the community, today Gull Lake Distilling Company is donating 10% of all sales to G-A's Class of 2024!!!! Enjoy yummy good in a fun environment while supporting our seniors!
Youth Soccer Camp scheduled on Wednesday, September 21st has changed. Unfortunately, we have a half day of school that day and can not have camp that day. Our new date for the Youth Soccer Camp will be Wednesday, September 28.
The camp for students in grades 1st-3rd will be 3:00-4;15. We will be practicing in the field behind the Primary. Please sign out your student when picking up.

ATTENTION PARENTS
The Soccer Camp scheduled for Wednesday , September 21 has to be changed to Wednesday, September 28. We have a half day of school
on the 21st. Sorry for the mix up. I did not realize we had a half day.

Now that the USDA is no longer offering free lunches to all students, MANY of you have expressed interest in contributing funds for students who have zero or negative balances.
If you would like to contribute funds for these students, checks can be sent to the G-ACS Central Office at 1076 N. 37th Street Galesburg, MI 49053.
Please address to Attn: Cheryl Cadwell and put "Angel Account" on the subject or memo line of the check.

G-A Community,
On behalf of the Galesburg-Augusta Food Service Department, we would like to update you on some important changes regarding lunch charges. Unfortunately, the Government did not pass legislation that provided free meals to all students for the 22/23 school year. It is important that you go to the mealmagic family portal and fill out the free and reduced lunch application. The portal link is on the district web page under parent links www.familyportal.cloud Also, within
that portal is the link to deposit money into your child's lunch account.
If a family is having difficulties making breakfast and/or lunch payments, please reach out to me to make payment arrangements. We will never deny a meal to a student, however if their account is negative more than $10.00 we will provide them with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a milk at no charge.
Lunch prices are as follows:
Primary and middle school:
Breakfast $1.60 - Lunch $2.85 - Milk $.50
High School
Breakfast $1.75 - Lunch $2.95 - Milk $.50

All practices are at the PRIMARY.
Students in third grade need to come to the gym immediately after school. Parents must pick up and sign out students at 4:00. Students in 4th-6th will ride the PINK bus from the MS to the Primary. Parents must pick up/sign out students at 5:15
Friday, September 9 is Rocket Football night at the varsity football game. All Rocket Football players and cheerleaders get in free. They will be introduced and allowed to be on the sidelines during the game. (Designated safe area )
🚌 TRANSPORTATION ANNOUNCEMENT: There will be NO PURPLE BUS route today (am or pm), due to being short a driver.
