Administrative Office Summer Hours Update:
While our admin office is open year-round, there are some changes for the summer schedule.
Most days, M-Thursday, the office will be open from 8:00-4:00pm. The office will be closed the following five Fridays: June 30, July 7, 14, 21, & 28. We will also be closed July 3rd & 4th.
Note: We recommend calling first if you plan to stop by the office, to ensure the correct people are in to meet your needs! We can be reached at 269-484-2000.

From the AD: The Speed and Agility clinic will run from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14th to accommodate for baseline testing. This is for this Wednesday only, and then we will be back to 11 a.m. to 13 p.m. next week.
Speed and Agility Camp starts tomorrow. The camp is at the HIGH SCHOOL practice field. Check in and registration will start at 10:30. We have received a large number of registration forms without the $20 camp fee. Please pay the $20 camp registration fee tomorrow. Students can purchase a Speed and Agility shirt for an additional $10.
Reminder: The Schools of Choice application window for next fall closes TOMORROW (June 9th). Applications must be returned to the office of the Superintendent by 4:00 p.m. Please give us a call at 269-484-2000 with questions.

G-A Families,
As you may have heard, today there was an incident in which one of our G-A buses was rear-ended by another, while trying to exit our MS parking lot to drive students home at the end of the day.
Unfortunately, a parent vehicle did not yield for the bus, and our driver had to slam on its brakes to avoid hitting the parent vehicle. That caused the bus behind it to run into the rear end of the other bus.
First responders did arrive. All students were removed from the buses and taken into our gym where students could be checked out for any injuries.
Five students were checked for injuries by first responders, but all went home. Only the bus driver of the first bus will seek medical attention.
We appreciate the middle school staff, our drivers, and our local responders for being so quick and efficient in ensuring everyone's safety prior to taking our children home for the day.
PARENTS OF CURRENT 5TH-11TH GRADE STUDENTS: Please read about a great opportunity for our student-athletes.
Attention 5th-11th grade students. The Galesburg-Augusta Athletic Department and G-A Sport's Boosters will be hosting Speed and Agility Clinics throughout the summer. These will take place at the high school from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. every Monday and Wednesday starting June 12th. The cost will be $20 to participate. This is NOT per session, but for the entire summer. The clinics will be run by professional trainers, which would normally cost you $25 to $50 per session. Instead, you are getting professional training for about $1.50 per session. Please pick up a registration form in the office or see Mr. Woodard or Mr. Merasco for a copy. PAYMENTS CAN BE MADE ON THE FIRST DAY.
Reminder: Tomorrow, Wednesday May 17, is a HALF DAY.

All sporting games/meets/matches today, EXCEPT for High School Tennis in Allegan, have been canceled. (Per the AD, Allegan has indoor courts located at their Middle School, which are right next to their outdoor courts.)

Tennis Update: The HS tennis match at G-A vs. Hackett that was originally scheduled for tomorrow has been moved to Wed. May 10th.
Baseball Update: Delton can not get their field playable, so the JV baseball games at Delton have been canceled.

The HS tennis match scheduled for today at Schoolcraft has been rescheduled for this Friday at 4:30 p.m.
